Instead of trying to 'set i...May I offer a tip? Instead of trying to 'set in' your centre square, here is a trick I learnt once. Take your centre square and one of your outside pieces. Stitch from the left hand side (the wide part of your red triangle) and only stitch to the centre of your green centre square. You can then continue stitching like a log cabin all the way around (clockwise) until you get to the last piece. When you finish stitching the first block down. <br />PS You will need to have your white corner oblongs stitched to your triangle block first. Hope that makes sense.
